If you are suffering from the signs of a kidney stones, it can be a difficult and distressing thing. However, what are specifically those signs of kidney stones for which you should be on the look out:

1. The biggest and most well-known symptoms is pain. If you have them now, you don't need to be reminded. The pain may vary and usually occurs in your flank area, or abdomen. You man also feel pain in the groin area.
2. When urinating you may have a burning sensation.
3. Urine that smells and is cloudy.
4. Chills and a Fever (sign of an infection). You may have a urinary track infection.
5. Nauseated and throwing up.

Kidney Stones Treatment

• Drink lots of water!!! This is so important. Many people go to the emergency room only to be told to drink lots of water and wait to pass the stones.

• Call your doctor to rule out other things. Do not diagnose it on your own. It is better to be safe than sorry.

• Tell a friend or loved one that is in your home or nearby that you are experiencing the pain. They might be able to go to the store for you or take you to the doctor.
